For the second leg of our road trip we met Ethel & Al at Topsail Hill. They love it there and now we know why. It's a state park like no other. The park was donated to the state and backs up to 6 miles of beach the state already owned. Nothing compares to the beaches in the Florida panhandle! We had planned 2 additional stops after leaving Topsail. Unfortunately we ended up spending the remainder of our trip here because of car trouble. But not a bad place to be stuck!!
